Micromax Canvas 4 Price

Good for a Teen priced phone.

That's Micromax vision which they haul on their back to become what they are set out to become. Micromax really pulled up their socks when they were about to launch the 4th edition of their Canvas series. With lots of promotions and a dedicated micro site and television Ads. My sister owns this phone and i have used this phone for a while now. Well lets touch 4 points on Canvas 4. Design, Performance, Camera, Service.

Design: It felt like its a copy of Samsung grand or Samsung galaxy 3, the built quality is mediocre, with poorly embedded micromax logo at the back.The silver side lining looks premium and look good from far. Phone for 17k its still justified.

Performance: The phone comes with Quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7, 1 GB ram which i felt was pre historic, my Samsung S2 packs those specs which was launched in 2011, nevertheless its still works unless you play some high graphic games which is when this phone starts to hang. Again for phone with 17k price tag its still OK.

Camera: Geo-tagging, touch focus, face/smile detection, HDR, panorama well these sounds yummy, sure it is with those 13MP primary camera and 5MP front facing camera. I really liked the pics which i clicked, untill i zoomed it. I felt that the camera was not even 8 MP, well that's a shame, we really expect more from Indian manufacturer.

Service: Micromax needs to improve on their service, it was a torrid experience for me to even locate the service station. Well but i got the phone repaired in a quick time that's saved the day for micromax.


Overall i would like to give MIcromax canvas 4 a 3star as i expect much more from Indian manufacturer.
