ZTE has announced a new smartphone named Star 1 in China. The device is priced at CNY 1399 which is approximately Rs. 13,500. The phone will be sold in 3 colour options- Black, White and Pink. The company has not yet announced the plan to launch the phone in India.
The ZTE Star 1 sports a 5-inch full HD (1080 x 1920) IPS display and runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS out-of-the-box. The phone is powered by 1.6GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor and 1GB RAM. There will be two memory variants- 16GB and 32GB, but without an option to expand. For imaging purpose, there’s an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and BIS (back-illuminated sensor) as well as 5MP front-facing camera. The battery capacity is 2300mAh.
Connectivity options of ZTE Star 1 include- LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS/AGPS.

ZTE recently launched Grand S II with 2GB RAM and 5.5-inch display in China priced at CYN 1699 (approx. Rs. 16, 400). The phone features 5.5-inch display, 2.3GHz quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS, 13MP rear camera, 2MP front-facing camera and 3000mAh battery.
