ZTE has launched its new Blade V9 and Blade V9 Vita in its ‘Blade’ series of smartphones. These feature a metal frame sandwiched between the glass panels. Both the phones come with full screen 18:9 displays with a screen-to-body ratio of up to 83.6%. The Blade V9 comes in Black and Gold. It is priced at $331 (Approx. Rs 22,000). The ZTE Blade V9 Vita comes in Black, Pink, Blue, and Dark blue. It is priced at $220 (Rs 14,500).

Bigger among the siblings, the ZTE Blade V9 sports a 5.7-inch FHD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by a Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 450 SoC, which comprises of an octa-core CPU clocked at 1.8 GHz and an Adreno 506 GPU. The Blade V9 comes in two variants – 3 GB RAM / 32 GB storage and 4 GB RAM / 64 GB storage. The storage bit is expandable up to 256 GB via the microSD card slot.

On the photography front, it is equipped by dual rear cameras in 16 MP+ 5 MP config. On the selfie front, utilises a 13 MP sensor. In terms of connectivity, you get 4G VoLTE capability, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS, and NFC. It also gets noteworthy features such as 3.5 mm audio jack and DTS audio which would please the audiophiles. The Blade V9 runs on Android Oreo 8.1 out of the box and is powered by a 3200 mAh battery under its hood.

The ZTE Blade V9 Vita sports a smaller 5.45-inch display with HD+ resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by the same Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 450 SoC as its bigger sibling. It bears in 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory which is expandable via the microSD card slot.

The Blade V9 Vita is equipped by a different camera setup at the rear. It boasts of a 13 MP primary lens and 2 MP depth sensor. It gets an 8 MP selfie shooter. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Hybrid Dual-SIM, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, 3.5 mm audio jack, and DTS audio. It runs on Android Oreo out of the box and is powered by a 3200 mAh battery under its hood.
