A700, A800, Q800, X500 and now the brand new X1000, it seems like Xolo is sweating it out to offer the Indian audience a much wider range of options to choose from. The phone will be powered by a 2 GHz Intel Atom processor. No wonder why then the gadget is already tagged as the fastest smartphone ever produced. The handset only supports one SIM and is priced at around Rs. 20000.  No doubt, the processor does look highly impressive, but that shouldn’t be the only deciding factor when it comes to making the final deal. So, what else does the gadget have in store for you? Lets find out.

Xolo X1000Key Features:

  • 4.7-inch TFT LCD capacitive touchscreen
  • Android 4.0.4 operating system
  • 2 GHz Intel Atom processor
  • 1 GB RAM
  • 8 MP primary camera
  • 1.3 MP secondary camera

Before we dive in to the hardware and the performance, let us talk a bit about the looks. The earlier models from Xolo were quite simplistic in terms of design. However, with the new X1000, it seems like the company has moved a step higher. “Stunning” would be the most appropriate word to describe the design. The combination of Black and Steel largely adds up to its appeal. The speaker along with the camera is neatly placed just above the display. The corners are rounded and the rear has a rubbery finish which offers a better grip. The power button and the 3.5 mm audio jack are located at the top, while the bottom panel features the USB charging slot.  The volume rocker can be found on the left panel.

The handset features a 4.7-inch display with a 720 x 1280 pixel resolution. The screen is quite bright and has better viewing angles. If watching videos and reading ebooks is what you do most often, the X1000 surely turns out to be the right pick. The standard 8 MP camera promises you best quality images. Moreover, it also features a 1.3 MP front-facing camera. Lastly, an 8 GB of internal storage sounds sufficient enough.

The handset runs on Android 4.0 and comes with a bunch of pre-loaded apps such as Movie Studio, Dropbox, Memo, Xolo Care, Weather Forecast, PIM Backup, Google Chrome and Play Music. As the phone runs on an Intel processor, a few apps from the Google Play store might not be supported. However, it does support popular games like Angry Birds and Temple Run. The 1900 mAh battery offers an impressive talk time of around 9.5 hours and a stand-by of up to 14 days.

So, should you go for it?
Equipped with the most powerful processor, massive display, a bunch of awesome apps and a highly stylish design, is there anything more you would ask for? Probably not! An overall rating of 9 on 10 is truly justified. Find the best deals at compareraja.in.
