Xiaomi will add Mi 10 to its S lineup in the Q1 of 2020. The founder and CEO Lei Jun revealed in a statement that Mi 10 is likely to be announced with its Pro variant. Jun further added that the smartphones will follow the tradition and will come with the latest Snapdragon chipset. Earlier the Mi Mix 2S came with Snapdragon 845 and Mi 9 had Snapdragon 855 underneath. A total number of 10 smartphones with 5G connectivity will be introduced in the market this year, according to Jun. Mi 10 will be one of them. Until now, Xiaomi sold more than 427million smartphones with Snapdragon chipset onboard.

Xiaomi Mi 10: Expected specifications & features

The upcoming Mi 10 will sport a 6.5-inch OLED panel with a higher refresh rate of 90Hz. Having an octa-core Snapdragon 865, the smartphone is expected to have 12 GB RAM and 3 storage options, 128GB, 256GB, 512GB. In the camera department, Mi 10 is most likely to have a quad-sensor unit which will house 108+48+12+8MP.

 

The smartphone will be backed by a 4500mAh battery with 48W fast-charging support. Mi 10 is expected to have Android 10 with a custom skin MIUI 11 on top. On the other hand, the expected Pro variant is said to have 65W fast charging. With an even higher refresh rate of 120Hz, Mi 10 Pro is also likely to have a quad-camera setup where it will feature 108+20+12+5MP sensors.
