The veil is lifted from the Redmi Note 10 series’ debut in the Indian market. The lineup will include a standard Redmi Note 10, Note 10 Pro, and Note 10 Pro Max. The elder sisters, i.e. Pro versions will sport an almost similar set of specs, however, the toned down Redmi Note 10 will go through a few degrades. The Pro variants will have a different set of camera modules including primary cameras.

A few highlights:

  • Redmi Note 10 will go on sale on March 16.
  • It will be the debut smartphone from Redmi to offer an AMOLED display panel.
  • The camera module will sport 48MP primary sensor and 33W fast charging.

The smartphones from Redmi have yet come only with the LCD screens. The entry level Note 10 series will debut with AMOLED panels. Though, the brand skipped out on offering the higher refresh rate on the standard Note 10.

Redmi Note 10: Key specs & features

With Full HD+ resolution producing 1080*2340 pixels, the Note 10 will sport a 6.43” panel at 60Hz refresh rate. The aspect ratio offered here is 20:9 and the screen can go up to a peak brightness of 1,100 nits. On the color calibration front, the smartphone features a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and the screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 5.

At its core, Redmi Note 10 will sport Snapdragon 678 chipset paired with 6 gigs of LPDDR4x RAM and a UFS 2.12 128GB onboard storage. Storage will not be an issue even for heavy users, all thanks to a dedicated microSD card slot for storage expansion. Coming to the optics, Redmi Note 10 will sport a quad-camera setup with a 48MP primary sensor. It will be a Sony IMX582 sensor coupled with an 8MP ultra-wide and dual 2MP depth & macro sensors. The punch-hole notch will house a 13MP selfie snapper.

The whole package is backed up by a huge 5,000 mAh battery with fast charging support up to 33W. The smartphone will boot on Android 11 with Redmi’s MIUI 12 on the top. A few other connectivity options are IR blaster, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, a 3.5mm audio port, and USB Type-C port for quick charging and data transfer.
