Including its flagship offering dubbed as Mi 11 Ultra, Xiaomi has finally launched its Mi 11 lineup in India. The lineup will have Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11X, and Mi 11X Pro. The latter two are India-specific smartphones. The duo sports the flagship spec-sheet which the brand has tried to offer at an affordable price. The SoC on Mi 11X and Mi 11X Pro are from Snapdragon’s 8-series.

The AMOLED panel on both the smartphones come with high refresh rate and bright colors. Coming briefly to the optics, Mi 11X sports a primary sensor of 48-megapixel whereas the Mi 11X Pro will have a primary sensor of 108-megapixel. As the smartphones are India-centric, Xiaomi has equipped them with NavIC and multiple voice assistant options.

Mi 11X and Mi 11X Pro: Key specs & features

The duo, Mi 11X and Mi 11X Pro sports a same-sized display of 6.67”. The AMOLED E4 display panel will produce Full HD+ resolution and the screen refresh rate will be 120Hz. With the touch sampling rate of 360Hz, the panel will touch the peak brightness of 1,300 nits and will also support HDR10+ with DCI-P3 color calibration. The duo comes with Gorilla Glass 5 sandwich build.

Coming to the optical setup, the duo will house their selfie cameras in a punch-hole cutout. Mi is offering a 20-megapixel sensor on both the smartphones. On the younger sibling, the primary camera on the rear is a 48-megapixel Sony IMX582 sensor, it will also support OIS with aperture fixed at f/1.79. There will be an ultra-wide lens of 8-megapixel with FOV of 119-degrees and a 5MP macro camera. On the elder sibling, Mi 11X Pro will sport a 108-megapixel primary camera having Samsung’s HM2 sensor with OIS support. The macro and wide-angle sensors are similar to Mi 11X.

At their core, Mi 11X Pro will sport Snapdragon 888 whereas Mi 11X will draw its power from Snapdragon 870. Both the smartphones will come with LPDDR5 memory and UFS 3.1 onboard storage. On the software front, based on Android 11, the smartphones will boot on MIUI 12. Mi 11X and Mi 11X Pro will also have Amazon’s Alexa and Google Assistant onboard.

The battery capacity on both the devices is 4,250 mAh and Xiaomi is also offering rapid charging of 33W. The USB ports on Mi 11X and 11X Pro will support PD 3.

On the security and biometrics front, the duo will come with a fingerprint scanner integrated with the power button. The brand is also offering facial unlock feature. As these smartphones are quite heavy on specifications, the brand is offering LiquidCooling, CopperTube cooling (only on Pro), and X-axis vibration motor. Other features that users will get are dual-speakers powered by DolbyAtmos, SmartPA, dual-frequency GPS with high accuracy, Bluetooth 5.2 (BT 5.1 on Mi 11X), Wi-Fi 6, and Type-C USB port.

Pricing and availability

The younger sibling Mi 11X will be available in two RAM options, ₹29,999 for 6/128GB variant and ₹31,999 for 8/128GB option. The color options will be Celestial Silver, Frosty White, and Cosmic Black.

Mi 11X Pro will go on sale in two storage options, ₹39,999 for 8/128GB combination and a bit higher ₹41,999 for 8/256GB combination. The color options will be the same as its younger sibling. Customers can buy Mi 11X through Amazon IN and the weekly sales of Mi India Store starting April 27. The pre-order window for the Mi 11X Pro was opened on April 24. The HDFC Bank customers can avail a cashback offer of ₹4,000 on Pro variant and ₹3,500 on standard Mi 11X.
