Along with the Redmi Note 5, Xiaomi also unveiled the Note 5 Pro in India. It offers a same display as that of the Redmi Note 5, but packs in more power.

The smartphone sports a 5.99-inch Full HD+ screen. The display is protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass 3. The phone is powered by the latest Snapdragon 636 chip. The phone comes in 4 GB and 6 GB RAM configurations. Internal storage is 64 GB with a hybrid SIM slot that can add more storage should you let go of the secondary SIM.

Much like the Mi A1, the Redmi Note 5 Pro offers a dual camera setup You get a 12 MP rear camera accompanied by a 5 MP depth sensor. For selfies, there’s a whopping 20 MP front-facing camera.

The phone is 4G VoLTE compatible, which means you can use it with Reliance Jio network. Other connectivity features include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, and GPS.

The phone uses a fingerprint sensor for user authentication. The onboard infrared sensor lets you control home appliances. The phone draws power from a 4000 mAh battery.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro with 4 GB RAM costs Rs 13,999. For 6 GB RAM variant, you will have to spend Rs 16,999. The phone will be available from Flipkart and Mi.com starting from February 22.
