Xiaomi Mi TV 4CXiaomi has announced its new 50-inch smart TV with 4K resolution, HDR support and Dolby audio. This will take its Mi TV 4C series line-up forward. The TV is very similar to the Xiaomi 55-inch model in ensuring fluidity with PatchWall UI, custom skin powered by the Android OS with deep learning AI capabilities.  By leveraging its AI prowess, Xiaomi will provide curated content recommendations to its users

In addition to the 50-inch 4k resolution panel with a resolution of 3840×2160 pixel and high dynamic range support, features such as 178-degree viewing angle and a 9.5ms response time add to the appeal of Mi TV 4C. The smart TV runs on a 1.5GHz quad-core Amlogic processor along with a 750MHz Mali-450 GPU.

The Mi TV 4C 50-inch features 2GB RAM and 8GB internal storage. Xiaomi has ensured that the TV would support Dolby and DTS audio by providing two speakers of 8W each for a rich audio experience. The smart TV supports content formats such as HDR 10, H.264, H.265, MPEG 1/2/4, Real, WMV3 and VC-1.

Connectivity options provided on the Mi TV 4C include dual band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, 3x HDMI, 2x USB, 1x Ethernet and AV ports. The TV is also accompanied by a Mi Remote Control feature support for gestures and speech recognition. This feature allows you to control your TV with your own voice.

The Mi TV 4C 50-inch has been priced at 2199 yuan or $349. This roughly works out to about Rs 22,720. The sales of the Mi TV 50-inch are taking place at the Xiaomi Mi Fan Festival in China, which will end on 6th April. There is no news yet as to when it will be sold in the Indian markets. The Xiaomi Mi TV 4C already comes in a 43-inch and 55-inch variants that is powered by 1GB and 2GB of RAM options, and an internal storage of 8GB.
