Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 Launched

Xiaomi has launched Mi Pad 4 tablet in its hometown China. The tablet is successor of last year’s Mi Pad 3 and brings significant improvement to the design as well as specifications. The Mi Pad 4 was launched alongside Redmi 6 Pro at an event in China. It comes in two variants- WiFi only and LTE + WiFi.

Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 Price:

There are two memory variants available in WiFi only- the 3GB RAM + 32GB storage variant is priced at 1,099 yuan which is roughly Rs. 11,500 and the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant is priced at 1,399 yuan which is roughly Rs. 14,600.

The WiFi + LTE model is available in single option i.e. 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and is priced at 1,499 yuan which is roughly Rs. 15,600.

There are two color options available to the user- Black and Gold. The sale of the tablet will begin later in the month starting from June 29.

Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 Features and Specifications:

The Mi Pad 4 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset clocked at 2.2GHz coupled with 3GB or 4GB of RAM. The inbuilt storage capacity of the device is 32GB or 64GB but there is no option to expand the memory via microSD card. It runs Android Oreo 8.1 operating system out of the box with Xiaomi’s own MIUI on top and packs 6,000mAh battery. It flaunts an 8-inch full HD display with 1920×1200 pixels resolution, 16:10 aspect ratio and pixel density of 283ppi.

Connectivity options provided with the device are 4G LTE (single Nano-SIM), Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (dual-band, 2.45GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth v5.0, 3.5mm headphone jack, and USB Type-C. But GPS and A-GPS options are only available in the LTE variant.

In terms of optics, the Mi Pad 4 hosts a 13-megapixel rear camera with an f/2.0 aperture and HDR support. The front hosts a 5-megapixel camera with an f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calls.

The tablet features AI Face Unlock and Smart Game Acceleration features. In terms of dimensions, the Mi Pad 4 measures 200.2×120.3×7.9mm and weighs 342.5 grams.

For those who are interested, the Mi Pad 3 features a 7.9-inch Retina display, MediaTek MT8176 hexa-core SoC, 4GB of RAM, 64GB inbuilt storage, 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel selfie camera and a 6,600mAh battery.
