Xiaomi Launches New Mi TV Range With Ultra-Narrow Bezels; Also Launched Its First Mural TV

Xiaomi has announced the launch of its all-new full screen Mi TV in four display sizes of 32-inch, 43-inch, 55-inch and 65-inch respectively. The company has also announced a 65-inch Mural TV which can be attached to a wall like an ultra-thin flat panel.

Full Screen Mi TV Range – Specifications:

The new full screen Mi TV models sport ultra-narrow bezels around the display area of the TV. The 32-inch model (E32A) bears HD resolution, while the 43-inch (E43A) model packs in full HD resolution. The higher 55-inch (E55A) and 65-inch (E65A) variants come with very sharp clarity and supports 4K resolution and HDR. As for its audio front, all the TV units are equipped with Dolby Audio + DTS HD audio support.

In terms of hardware, all the TV’s are powered by a quad-core 64-bit processor. The 32-inch model packs 1GB RAM and 4GB onboard memory, while the 43-inch variant comes with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage. The 55-inch and 65-inch models pack 2GB RAM and 8GB internal memory.

As for the connectivity options, the Mi TV’s come with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi support. The TVs run custom PatchWall OS layered on top of Android. The TV offers a Bluetooth-powered remote control which understand and responds to voice commands.

Mi Mural TV 65-inch:

Xiaomi has also announced the launch of its first ever Mural TV at the same event. The TV is available in only a 65-inch screen size. It comes with a flat back measuring just 13.9mm in thickness. The TV looks like a mural and it can be fitted on the wall. It is accompanied by a soundbar which houses the motherboard and other hardware that connects to the TV via a flat cable.

The Mi Mural TV features Dolby Audio and DTS HD tuning for audio. The company is also providing the users a subwoofer at no additional cost.

Like the Mi smart TV series, the Mural TV is also powered by a 64-bit quad-core processor coupled with 2GB RAM and 32GB onboard storage. The TV runs on PatchWall OS and comes with the usual smart features. The TV comes with a Xiao AI-powered smart speaker. This enables the users to control the TV hands-free without turning on the TV screen. The TV also enables users to make video calls. It comes with a 12-key Bluetooth remote for voice control.

As for the connectivity options, the Mi Mural TV comes with several connectivity ports which include 3 HDMI ports, 2 USB ports, and an AV and Ethernet port

Pricing & Availability:

The price of base variant of new Mi TV is set at 1,099 Yuan which roughly converts to around Rs 11,400. The 43-inch model of the smart TV costs 1,999 Yuan which roughly converts to around Rs 20,736. The 55-inch is priced at 2,999 Yuan which converts to around Rs 31,122 and the 65-inch variant comes with a price tag of 3,999 Yuan which converts to around Rs 41,499 respectively. The Mi Mural TV which comes with a display screen of 65-inches is available at a price tag of 6,999 Yuan which converts to around Rs 73,605. The new models are currently up for pre-order in China.

Xiaomi has not yet announced the pricing and availability of its new TV’s in the international market yet. However, owing to the success of its Mi TV series in India’s television market, we are expecting Xiaomi to launch its latest range in India very soon.
