Xiaomi Launches Mi TV 4C, 4X And 4S In China

Xiaomi, the Chinese mobile manufacturer, has launched four new models of smart TVs – Mi TV 4C, two variants of the Mi TV 4S, and Mi TV 4X in China. All the smart TVs have display screens of around 32 inches to 55 inches. They are priced in the range of Rs. 10,600 to Rs. 35,100. The smart TVs are powered by Xiaomi’s Android TV-based proprietary software named PatchWall UI.

The Mi TV 4C comes with a 32-inch panel. The display packs a WXGA resolution of 1366×768 pixels. It costs around Rs. 10,600. The smart TV comes with a 178-degree viewing angle, a response time of 6.5ms, and a refresh rate of 60Hz. The processor that powers the smart TV is a 1.5GHz ARM Advanced multi-core processor. The processor is paired with 1GB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage.

As for connectivity, the Mi TV 4C seamlessly supports 2x HDMI ports, 1x AV port, 1x USN port, 1x Ethernet port, S/PDIF, and an analogue signal Digital Terrestrial Multimedia Broadcast (DTMB). The smart TV runs on PatchWall UI and is pre-loaded with a great set of apps and features.

The Mi TV 4S smart TV has been launched by the company in two variants. The high-end version is a 55-inch version with a price of around Rs 35,000 while the standard version has a 43-inches display and costs around Rs. 19,000. The 55-inch Mi TV 4S boasts of a curved 4K resolution display with 60Hz refresh rate and 178-degree angle of viewing. It features a 64-bit quad-core processor and is powered by 2GB of RAM, and 8GB of onboard storage. The 43-inch variant of Mi TV 4S is powered by a quad-core processor clubbed with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of onboard storage. The 43-inches Mi TV 4S features 4K Ultra HD display, a refresh rate of 60Hz and 178-degree viewing angle.

In terms of connectivity, both 43-inch and 55-inch variants support Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The 55-inch variant has a 3x HDMI Port, 1x AV port, 2x USB ports, 1x Ethernet port, 1x S/PDIF, and an analogue signal DTMB port. The 43-inch variant has a 2x HDMI port and the same connectivity options as the high-end variant. Both the smart TVs run on Xiaomi’s PatchWall UI and is pre-loaded with a set of applications and features.

The Mi TV 4X is a 55-inch display size smart TV. It comes with 3840×2160 pixels 4K HDR resolution. The smart TV is powered by an Amlogic SoC with a 1.5GHz Cortex-A53 CPU and a 750MHz Mali-450 MP3 GPU. The Mi TV 4X boasts of 2GB of RAM and 8GB of built-in storage. The TV comes with Dolby audio and has connectivity options such as 3x HDMI ports, 2x USB ports, 1x AV Input, and 1x S/PDIF. The Mi TV 4X costs around Rs. 29,800.

The four new smart TVs are already available for pre-booking in China and the shipments of the pre-order will begin on 31st of May. Xiaomi will launch its next-generation flagship smartphone – Mi 8 on the same day. Xiaomi has not yet clarified whether it will launch the smart TVs in India.
