Launched earlier this the year, the Mi Max 2 came with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage. The phone was then priced at Rs 16,999. While we were expecting Xiaomi to slash the price for the festive season, the company has instead launched a watered-down phone for Rs 14,999. In this variant, you get only 32 GB internal storage.
Rest of the specifications remain same, as the phone comes with a 6.4-inch Full HD IPS screen with a curved glass. The Mi Max 2 (32 GB) is powered by the Snapdragon 625 chipset. It has 12 MP rear camera with Sony IMX386 sensor. For selfies, you get a 5 MP camera module.
Other features include a fingerprint sensor, infrared sensor, 4G VoLTE support, and a whopping 5300 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0.
On the software side of things, you get Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) with MIUI on top. As mention earlier, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 (32 GB) is priced at Rs 14,999. However, it will be available for Rs 12,999 on September 20 on Amazon.
