The Chinese tech mogul Xiaomi has finally revealed its latest Smart TV 5A Pro in the Indian market. The brand has already launched a standard Smart TV 5A earlier this year in April, however, the latest Pro edition will get a significant spec bump. If the lineup is laid out next to each other, it will be next in line with 2019’s Mi TV 4A Pro.

With an affordable price tag of under ₹20,000, the latest addition to Xiaomi’s TV lineup will directly compete with the budget offerings from brands like OnePlus, Nokia, Realme, etc. Now, let’s dive into it for a detailed overview.

In terms of screen sizes, Xiaomi will only offer the Smart TV 5A Pro in a single 32-inch option. The panel will produce HD resolution and the screen to body ratio will be quite high at 96%, all thanks to minimal bezels. For better picture quality, Xiaomi is using a dedicated engine for enhanced vividness. The bottom chin will be comparatively thicker to incorporate Xiaomi branding along with an LED indicator. Moving to the audio, the TV will have a speaker setup of 24W drivers that will come with Dolby Atmos support.

At its core, there is an ARM Cortex A-55 SoC powering the Smart TV 5A Pro that will come with 8 gigs of onboard storage and 1.5GB RAM. The device will boot on Android 11 with a custom PatchWall UI skin on top of it.
