When it comes to reading, Indians have their own preferences which include news updates, latest knowledge updates and latest happenings in the entertainment industry. Though these updates are available through traditional print editions, people having internet access are reading them online as well.

Logicserve Group recently conducted a Poll at www.facebook.com/couponraja to find out what Indian’s prefer reading the most. Out of the total number of participants, 63.95 % prefer reading news online followed by Blog readers at just 12.79 %. Around 11.62 % of the participants prefer reading ebooks, while 06.99 % constantly look out for Social Media updates online.

Increasing number of Indians log online for catching up on the news to stay updated as they get access to the latest and the breaking news through many news portals. People do log online for reading blogs and ebooks but their figure though almost on par is minimal. At the same time, catching up on social media updates while being online but has not yet made its mark, maybe because Indians still believe in catching up personally or through a phone call!!

The 24×7 availability of Internet is encouraging Indians to read and stay updated be it -news, blogs, ebooks, updates on social networking sites for they can access it when they are at home or office or while on the move.
