Vivo Z1 Lite with 6.26-inch Display and Snapdragon 626 Launched in China

Chinese handset maker Vivo has expanded its Z series with the launch of Z1 Lite smartphone in China. It is a toned-down version of company’s Z1 smartphone that was launched earlier this year. The key difference is that the Z1 was powered by Snapdragon 660 SoC while the Z1 Lite is powered by Snapdragon 626 SoC. In terms of design, both the phones look identical.

Vivo Z1 Lite Pricing and Availability Details

The Vivo Z1 Lite is priced in China at CNY 1098 which is roughly Rs. 11,500 and has already gone on sale via company’s online store. There are three colour options available for the interested buyers Aurora Purple, Black, and Red with gradient finish.

Vivo Z1 Lite Features and Specifications

As mentioned earlier, the Vivo Z1 Lite is a trimmed version of Vivo Z1. It is powered by Snapdragon 626 SoC along with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage, which can be increased further up to 256GB using a microSD card. The dual-SIM phone runs Android 8.1 Oreo operating system out of the box based on FunTouch OS and is fueled by a 3260mAh battery which is similar to that of Vivo Z1. Vivo has included the Jovi AI assistant on the device. In terms of security, the phone features a rear mounted fingerprint scanner as well as Face Unlock.

In terms of display, the Vivo Z1 Lite sports a 6.26-inch full-HD+ LCD display with screen resolution of 1080×2280 pixels and aspect ratio of 19:9. The display comes with a wide notch at the top which houses the selfie camera.

In terms of optics, there’s a dual camera setup on the back with a 16-megapixel primary sensor + a 2-megapixel secondary sensor, and LED flash. The front hosts a 16-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture. Shooting modes included with the camera set up are panorama, beauty, professional, AR shoot, blur photo, and more. Both the front as well as rear cameras are backed by AI capabilities for enhanced photography experience.

Connectivity features included in the Vivo Z1 Lite are 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, and GPS. In terms of dimensions, the phone measures 154.81 x 75.03 x 7.89 mm and weighs 149.3 grams.
