Vivo X27Earlier this month Vivo launched its Vivo V15 & Vivo V15 Pro smartphones with a pop-up selfie camera in India and today the China-based smartphone maker has launched Vivo X27 and Vivo X27 Pro smartphones in its home town. The highlights of the device include triple rear camera set up supported by an LED flash, pop-up selfie camera and Android Pie-based Funtouch OS 9 out of the box.

Vivo X27 and X27 Pro Price and Availability

The Vivo X27 is priced in China at CNY 3,198 which roughly translates to Rs. 32,900 for the base model i.e. 8GB RAM + 128GB inbuilt storage. The higher model i.e. 8GB RAM + 256GB inbuilt storage is priced at CNY 3,598 which is roughly Rs. 37,000.

The Vivo X27 Pro comes with a price tag of CNY 3,998 (approx. Rs. 41,100) for the lone 8GB RAM + 256GB inbuilt storage variant.

Both the phones will be available in China starting March 23rd.

Vivo X27 and X27 Pro Features and Specifications

The Vivo X27 sports a 6.39-inch full-HD+ notch-less display panel with 1080×2340 pixel screen resolution and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. In terms of memory, there’s 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. The 128GB internal storage variant is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC while the pricier 256GB storage variant is powered by Snapdragon 710 chipset. In terms of software, the phone runs Google’s latest Android 9.0 Pie-based Funtouch OS 9 out of the box. There is a dedicated button for the Jovi AI assistant.

In terms of camera, the Vivo X27 features a triple camera module on the back which consists of a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 primary sensor + a 13-megapixel secondary sensor along with a wide-angle lens + a 5-megapixel tertiary, depth sensor. The front hosts a pop-up selfie camera module with 16-megapixel sensor. The camera set up is backed by artificial intelligence (AI) for enhanced photography.

All of this is backed by a 4,000mAh battery that supports Vivo’s 22.5W FlashCharge fast charging technology.

The Vivo X27 Pro comes equipped with a larger 6.7-inch display having 20.5:9 aspect ratio and is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 710 SoC along with 8GB of RAM of 256GB of inbuilt storage. The rear camera module of Vivo X27 Pro is same as that of Vivo X27, but on the front it features a 32-megapixel pop-up selfie camera instead of a 16-megapixel. The battery capacity of the device is 4,000mAh.

For security purpose, both the phones feature a sixth-gen in-display fingerprint sensor which comes with 27% more fingerprint detection area and increases the recognition speed by 50% as claimed by the company. In terms of connectivity, the phones feature 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and USB. It is still unknown if and when both the phones will be launched in India.
