
Vivo V15 Pro with 32-MP Pop-Up Selfie Camera Launched in India Priced at Rs. 28,990
Vivo held an event at New Delhi today to announce its latest mid-range offering for Indian market dubbed as Vivo V15 Pro. The phone comes with interesting set of features and specifications which includes triple rear camera set up, 32MP pop-up selfie camera, Snapdragon 675 SoC and Google’s latest Android 9 Pie operating system out of the box.
Vivo V15 Pro Price and Availability in India
The Vivo V15 Pro is priced in India at Rs. 28,990 for the lone 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The pre-booking for the phone has already started and the sale will begin from next month starting 6th March. It will be sold via Amazon, Flipkart, Paytm Mall, Snapdeal, and Vivo India online store as well all leading offline stores across the country. The phone will come in two colour options- Topaz Blue and Ruby Red. The phone features a dual tone design which the company refers to as ‘Spectrum Ripple Design’.
As part of the launch offer, the HDFC card customers will get 5 per cent instant discount. In addition, the company is giving extra Rs. 3,000 off on upgrade from Vivo smartphone and extra up to Rs. 2,000 off on exchange. There’s also no cost EMI up to 18 months available for interested buyers and one-time screen replacement at just Rs. 999 valid until March 20.
Vivo V15 Pro Features and Specifications
The Vivo V15 Pro flaunts a 6.39-inch Ultra FullView Super AMOLED display panel with fullHD+ screen resolution of 1080×2340 pixels, an aspect ratio of 19:9 and screen-to-body-ratio of 91.64 per cent. There’s an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 AIE SoC underneath to keep things ticking along with 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage. The storage is expandable further up to 256GB via microSD card. The device runs Android 9 Pie operating system out of the box based on Vivo’s Funtouch OS 9 version and is fueled by 3,700mAh capacity battery with company’s own Dual Engine charging support through its micro USB port. The battery can charge up to 24 per cent in just 15 minutes of time, as claimed by the company.
Things get interesting in the camera department, where the phone features a triple rear camera set up on the back which is vertically stacked and placed on the top left corner. It comprises of a 48-megapixel primary Quad Pixel sensor (enabling 12-megapixel effective pixels) with an f/1.8 lens + a secondary 8-megapixel AI super wide-angle sensor + a third 5-megapixel depth shooter. The rear camera supports AI Body Shaping and AI Portrait Lighting features. On the front, you get a 32-megapixel pop-up selfie camera. Vivo claims the pop-up camera takes 0.46 seconds to arise completely.

In terms of connectivity, the Vivo V15 Pro features 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The dimensions of the phone are 157.25×74.71×8.21 mm and it weighs about 185 grams. For security purpose, the phone has an 5th generation in-display fingerprint sensor as well as a face recognition module.
