Vivo V15 Pro Launch Invite

Vivo unveiled the Vivo V11 and V11 Pro with dewdrop notches in India last year and now the company is all geared up to launch the next gen V series smartphones dubbed as Vivo V15 and Vivo V15 Pro. The China-based handset maker has rolled out media invites to ‘Block Your Calendar’ for the launch event scheduled on February 20 where it is set to announce its new model. Although the invite doesn’t mention the name of the device, it is highly speculated to be Vivo V15 Pro. The company is also expected to launch the Vivo V15 alongside the Vivo V15 Pro.

The invite features a silhouette showing the elevating selfie camera setup along with a teaser line that reads, “There’s a new pop-star in town.” Notably, the company had launched Vivo NEX in the country last year as its first phone with a pop-up selfie camera. The phone was launched with a price tag of Rs. 44,990, but it reduced the price to Rs. 39,990 later on.

Rumoured Specifications of Vivo V15 Pro:

The Vivo V15 Pro has been subjected to several leaks and rumours in the recent past. As per a leaked render by Sohu.com, the upcoming phone can be seen sporting an almost bezel-less design but there is a slight chin on the bottom. As per the other leaks, the phone is expected to sport a 32MP pop-up selfie camera on the left side of the phone. The pop-up camera on the Vivo NEX was placed on the right. According to a report by 91mobiles, the V15 Pro will be capable of producing images with 48-megapixel resolution and the primary shooter will be accompanied by two additional sensors at the rear– 8MP + 5MP. The triple camera set up will also get a dual-tone LED flash support.

Further, the Vivo V15 Pro is speculated to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC along with 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The processor could be paired with an Adreno 612 GPU. The device could feature a Super AMOLED display with an in-display fingerprint sensor, but there is no information available yet regarding the display size and resolution. The V15 Pro is also expected to come with in-display fingerprint sensor, but it will be a much-improved one.
