Vivo has launched a budget phone with a thin bezel design. Dubbed as Y75, this phone features a 5.7-inch screen. With its 18:9 aspect ratio, the phone achieves 83.6% screen-to-body ratio. With 1440 x 720 pixels, the screen is not very sharp.
The phone is powered by MediaTek’s Helio P23 SoC (System on Chip). It has 4 GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, and a microSD card slot. The phone has a rear mounted fingerprint sensor. Vivo has also implemented face unlock feature.
Camera enthusiasts will get to play with a 13 MP rear camera. Seflie-lovers get special attention as the phone comes with a 16 MP front-facing shooter. For low-light selfies, it is equipped with a soft LED flash.
It is a dual-SIM phone with 4G VoLTE support. Other connectivity features include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, and GPS. It draws power from a 3000 mAh battery. The Y75 runs Android 7.1 Nougat with Vivo’s Funtouch OS 3.2 on top.
The Vivo Y75 is available for purchase in China for 1598 yuan (approx. Rs 15,500). There is no word on its global launch though.
