Vivo Launched An All-new Vivo Y31 With 5,000 mAh Battery And Snapdragon 662 SoC In India

On Wednesday, the Chinese tech magnate Vivo has revealed a Y-series smartphone dubbed as Vivo Y20G in the Indian market with features like 18W fast charging, 6GB RAM, and Helio G80 chipset. Today, the brand introduced a new smartphone dubbed as Vivo Y31.

The brand has incorporated some major enhancements when compared to its predecessor, Vivo Y30. The smartphone will be available under a price bracket of under ₹18,000. Let’s dive into the features and key specs offered by Vivo.

Vivo Y31: Key specs & features

The latest addition to the Vivo lineup will sport a 6.58” panel. The panel adorned by Vivo Y31 will be an LCD 1080p screen with FullHD+ resolution. The screen will also come with a punch-hole design that will house the selfie camera. With the fingerprint sensor comes integrated with the power button, the smartphone will come with a primary camera module that is borrowed from Vivo X50.

Coming to the optics, Vivo Y31’s triple-camera system will house a primary sensor of 64MP f/1.79 aperture along with a 2MP sensor for bokeh. The punch-hole cutout will house a 16MP f/2.0 selfie snapper. The smartphone will rely on Electronic Image Stabilization as there is no OIS support. Thanks to multi-frame noise reduction on board, Vivo Y31’s camera is capable of shooting super clear pictures and videos. Along with multiple camera modes, users will get slow-mo video, night-mode portrait, and front screen flash.

At its core, the device sports Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 paired with 6GB RAM. The onboard storage will be 128GB that can is also expandable up to 1TB using the dedicated microSD card. The whole package is backed up by a 5,000 mAh battery that supports fast-charging up to 18W. The charging adapter will be provided into the box and the smartphone will also sport USB Type-C.

Vivo Y31 will boot on the brand’s own FunTouchOS 11 skin on top of Android 11.

Vivo’s latest offering, Vivo Y31 will be available in two color options, Ocean Blue and Racing Black. The smartphone will go on a retail price of ₹16,490. Customers can buy the device from e-commerce portals like Amazon and Flipkart along with the brand’s online store and all major offline stores.
