uleFone announced that it will be launching its new uleFone T2 Pro at the MWC 2018 (Mobile World Congress). Thanks to the multiple leaks, we already know about many features of this upcoming phone. The design has been fully revealed in leaked images. It seems to be made of a metal frame sandwiched between the front and the rear glass. The rear glass is curved towards the side edges. The front gets the fullscreen display with a tiny notch on the top and very slim chin at the bottom. The notch comprises of the speaker and the front selfie shooter.

The uleFone T2 Pro is speculated to come with a 6-inch display. The company also confirmed that the display will come with a unique 19:9 aspect ratio. The chrome metal frame consists of the antenna lines on the top and bottom, volume rockers on the side and the USB Type-C port at the bottom flanked by the speaker grilles.

Interestingly there Is no sign of a physical fingerprint sensor, which may point towards face recognition or an in-screen fingerprint sensor. uleFone might look to incorporate this latest technology developed by Synaptics considering this is a flagship product from the company.

uleFone also confirmed that this will be the first handset to be powered by a MediaTek Helio P70 which is an octa-core SoC (System on Chip) that uses 12nm TSMC fabrication process technology. The chipset comprises of four Cortex-A73 CPU cores clocked at 2.5 GHz and the other four Cortex-A53 CPU cores clocked at 2 GHz. It is said to come with up to 8 GB RAM. The company states that this new chipset from MediaTek outperforms Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 660 SoC on AnTuTu.
