Recently, our world has been revolutionized with smartphones and tabs which we use by swiping our fingers over the screen. But for taking over the requirement of keyboard, actual or virtual researchers in Texas are working upon “Air Type”.
Air Type is a designed to be a portable device which records your finger movements and deciphers what you are trying to type. Moreover, it is slated to work on any surface which does solve many issues. The researchers call it as “a keyboard that fits in the palm of your hand”.
With its design similar to that of a pair of cuffs, you just need to clip it on to your palms to use it, quite simple isn’t it? Wondering how to use it …. Assume you are using the keyboard and get going. The Air Type contains an intuitive app which corrects the user’s typos and dynamically predicts text.
Still in the prototype stage but what to expect when the actual product is launched. Air Type will contain a pair of cuff that have to be slipped on to your palms and you can begin to type instantly across any surface, be it a table at a café or your work desk either at office or home or on surface as you travel in bus or train for daily commute or travel trips.
No more carrying along a portable keyboard or a lappy for typing in your requirements or while staying in touch with friends, colleagues and family members. Though much details of Air Type have not yet been out, we are assuming it will offer the much desired connectivity with other devices through Bluetooth or something on similar lines.
Till we wait and watch for its launch, Air Type is sure going to be a “type” trendsetter.
