Two new Micromax tablets, Canvas Tab P650E and Funbook Ultra HD P580, now listed online

Domestic player Micromax has expanded its tablet line-up with two new tablets. The devices dubbed as Canvas Tab P650E and Funbook Ultra HD P580 are now listed on company’s website for Rs. 8999 and Rs. 11,990 with delivery mentioned within 7-10 days. Both the tablets support voice calling.

The Canvas Tab P650E, a CDMA variant of company’s flagship Tab P650, is also available with MTS offer. The tablet sports a 7-inch display with 1024×600 pixels resolution. It is powered by 1GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor along with 512MB RAM and runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. The inbuilt storage capacity is 4GB which can be expanded up to 32GB via mcroSD card. There’s 2MP rear camera and a VGA front-facing camera. All of this is backed by a 3000mAh battery which can deliver up to 11 hours of talktime and 220 hours of standby time.

Micromax Funbook Ultra P580

The Funbook Ultra HD P580 sports a 7.8-inch IPS HD display with 1280×720 pixels resolution. The tablet is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core MediaTek MTK8389 processor and 1GB RAM. It runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS. Inbuilt storage capacity is 8GB which can be expanded up to 32GB with microSD card. There’s a 5MP primary camera and a 2MP front-facing camera. The connectivity options include- 3G, WiFi and Bluetooth. The battery capacity is 3600mAh.
