Love reading thrillers? Then you probably love John Grisham novels, don’t you? Most of his stories revolve around the courtroom filled with a huge amount of ‘suspense’, and that’s what keeps you excited. Well, its hard to categorize these books differently based on which one’s good and which one’s not, as they all seem quite amazing. However, there are a few you cannot afford to miss out on, no matter what. Listed below are a couple of them.

The FirmThe Firm:
Published in 1991, The Firm is a second novel by Grisham Books which sold over 1.5 million copies within 2 years. The novel is based on Mitchell Y, a Harvard Law School graduate who joins a law firm in Memphis named Bendini, Lambert and Locke.  Though a small company, it did offer Mitchell a large salary, a lot more than what he expected. Unfortunately, two of his colleagues accidentally die while scuba diving. While at their funeral, he finds out that two other attorneys working in the firm had died a suspicious death. Mitchell smells something fishy and finally decides to investigate. What happens next? To find out, grab your copy.

The ChamberThe Chamber:
The 1994 thriller novel is Grisham’s fifth and talks about a former unrepentant racist named Sam Cayhall who is facing a death penalty for bombing an office of a Jewish Lawyer. There is nothing that can save him, except his own grandson Adam who seems to be his last chance. The execution is finally near. Just a few days left. All now depends on Adam. One secret can either save Sam or cost him his life. Sizzled with a few instant twists and turns, the novel is sure to keep you glued to your couch until you are done with it.

The ConfessionThe Confession:
Travis Boyette rapes and strangulates a high school cheerleader. He then decides to bury the body. Unfortunately Donte Drumm, a local football star, is arrested and convicted for the crime. Travis Boyette now can’t believe his luck. He holds no regrets. He doesn’t mind watching an innocent man serve the sentence. But, then comes a transformation. Nine years later Travis is found guilty in another crime. This is when Donte’s execution is just a few days away. Suffering from a brain tumor, Travis now finds himself in a very miserable position, and finally decides to do what is right – confess. The Confession is a perfect novel describing how a guilty man can save the innocent.

The TestamentThe Testament:
Troy Phelan an aged billionaire decides to leave his entire fortune to Rachel Lane, his illegitimate daughter, leaving nothing for his children and ex-wives. Troy’s family finds it hard to accept and decides to contest the will. Things turn a bit difficult for the family when Nate O’Riley, a lawyer, takes up the task to locate Rachel and protect the will. Rachel is now in Brazil living as a missionary. Nate finally finds her,  but is unable to convince her to accept the will. That’s not where the story ends, and if you think the family eventually get all the money, you’re wrong. To find out what happens next, you got to read the book.

The RainmakerThe Rainmaker:
The story of the Rainmaker is about a young man named Rudy Baylor who decides to take up a multi-billion dollar scam case. All of this happens during Rudy’s final semester when he is assigned a task of offering free legal advice to a specific group of senior citizens, and this is where he meets his first clients, Dot and Buddy Black, a couple who’s son is suffering from leukemia and the insurance company refuses to pay the medical expenses. Rudy finds it to be highly suspicious and finally realizes that its one of the largest insurance scams in history. Its great to read about how Rudy deals with every bit of it.
