Being in the e-commerce space, we at Compareraja are always on the lookout to get newer and better insights in to the market trends and understand the consumer behavior. Amidst all the talks about the changing face of online marketing and sales, we firmly believe the evolution is driven by one factor – The Customer.
Last month we carried out a survey to find out the importance of online price comparison and the results were quite astonishing. This month we wanted to get a better understanding of one of the most crucial aspects of online shopping, we wanted to get an insight on which factor triggers their buying decision the most.
The survey was conducted on social media platform and we asked the respondents to rate on a scale of most important, important, moderately important and least important about which factor is most important for them while shopping online. 1000 people took the survey and below are the results:
The survey was quite an eye-opener for us as we believed that discounts and flash sales offers are the crucial factor that invariably drives the consumers to make purchases.
With the results it is quite evident that customers rate the customer serve as the most important factor. So for the businesses to survive in the competitive market, it is pivotal to understand that quick, prompt and friendly customer service is paramount importance.
