Huawei will soon be launching the ‘Ascend’, its most awaited smartphone series. Though not the most popular player in the smartphone arena, it seems like Huwei with its brand new gizmo is trying hard to get right on top of the list. But, the question is, will it be able to? No reasons why it won’t. Of course, it is too early to comment or pass a judgement before you even get your hands on these gadgets, but they surely ought to have your attention. Let’s have a close look at them.
Huawei Ascend W1
The massive 4-inch screen turns out to be the centre of attraction. Powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, the phone is pre-loaded with Windows Phone 8 operating system. The 5 MP auto focus primary camera comes with features such as LED flash, touch focus, face detection and Geo-tagging. The internal memory is only 4 GB but can be extended further up to 32 GB. A 2,000mAh battery brings it on the same page with the Nokia Lumia 820 and the HTC 8S. The phone is rumoured to be released in January 2013.
Huawei Ascend D2
This one is expected to hit the market somewhere in February 2013. It features a 5-inch display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. Accompanied with a 13 MP primary camera, which is much better than the standard 8 MP cameras that most of the present-day smartphones have. Unlike, the Ascend W1, this one runs on Android v4.1 operating system. Amazingly, the Ascend D2 houses a powerful 1.5 GHz Quad-core processor, which is more than just amazing. What else would you ask for? The price is not yet disclosed, but you can surely expect something that goes easy on your pocket.
Huawei Ascend Mate
If you are looking out for something more, this one is surely for you. A 6.1-inch screen – Yes!! You heard it right, a massive 6.1-inch screen. So, if you are in a habit of watching movies while you are on a go, the Mate is meant just for you. Though not confirmed, the phone is rumoured to have a 1.8 GHz dual-core processor and a 2 GB RAM which will definitely be too hot to handle if true. Finally, you have a 3,800mAh battery loaded into a 9.9mm body. So, isn’t this your dream phone? No doubt, it is.
Obviously, it is too early to compare the trio with the top smart phones on the planet at least for now, but with all of that powerful hardware pumped in, you are sure to get a lot more than what you expect.
