After getting a grip in the Indian market with Oneplus one and Oneplus 2, leaks coming in from China suggest its new powerfully beautiful OnePlus X will initially launch in 2 colours – black and white. A close look at the design may remind you of an iPhone, at least that’s what the leaks point out to.
However, it won’t be wise to settle down yet with what you hear about the device, as it is not yet clear where the handset was actually found. So, just hold your breath.
The OnePlus X is expected to cost you somewhere around INR 14,500. But, again that pricing is purely based on what the leaks point out to. According to an initial report, the device was rumoured to cost over INR 16,200. So, make sure you probably have around INR 19K in your pocket before you place the order.
Alright! Now let’s get to the point – the specifications. The OnePlus X is expected to come with a 5-inch 1080p display and will be powered by a Snapdragon 801 processor. It will run on Oxygen OS 3.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. A 13 MP rear camera along with an 8 MP front facing snapper is definitely a good deal. Not many phones sport an 8 MP secondary camera. So, if an awesome selfie phone is what you are looking out for, this can probably turn out to be the one.
3GB of RAM is sure to make things run smooth. Moreover, you get 16GB of storage space, which should be sufficient enough. A few reports also suggest that the device will support NFC and feature a quick charging 3100 mAh battery.
Apart from the specs mentioned above, nothing much is yet known. However, no matter what the final product looks like, OnePlus surely won’t disappoint you. Meanwhile, let’s compare it to the previous offerings by OnePlus.
With all that is known, the OnePlus X does seem to be quite strong. But, this isn’t the final picture. You may see something more being added up.
In terms of price, the OnePlus X turns out to be a good deal with all that goodness packed in. Moreover, by keeping the price reasonable, the company aims at reaching a larger set of audience. So, if a budget phone with powerful features is what you are looking for, the OnePlus X deserves to be the one for you.
