In post iPhone world, people rely more on their handheld devices compared to conventional computers. In a bid to increase the display size, the smartphone brands have jumped on the thin-bezel bandwagon. Taking a cue from this, Lenovo shrinked the bezels on its latest tablet, the Tab 7.
It features a 7-inch HD screen in a compact footprint. Its design language is based on a Phablet with a thickness of just 8.4 mm rather than the bulky tablets offered by the competitors. The budget tablet supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, and voice calling support in India. The Tab 7 is powered by a 64-Bit quad-core processor by Mediatek clocked at 1.3 GHz. It comes with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB onboard storage along with a microSD slot for expansion up to 128 GB.
Video calling is handled by a 2 MP camera on the front. There’s also a 5 MP camera on the back. Lenovo has thrown in its proprietary Dolby Atmos certified front facing speaker for you to enjoy better audio while watching movies. It runs Android Nougat 7.0 out of the box and is equipped with a 3500 mAh battery.
With a Rs 9,999 price tag, the Lenovo Tab 7 is high on value proposition. It will be available exclusively on Flipkart along with offers such as an extra 5 percent discount for Axis Bank credit card holders as well as zero-Interest EMIs starting at Rs 1,111 per month.
