A Samsung Galaxy S9+ leak video is trending on the Internet. If you have seen it then don’t share it with your friends just yet, as it is clearly a fake video. Although the handset is a good imitation of what the next Samsung flagship could be, it certainly is not the real deal. Most Samsung fans can easily spot that the purported Galaxy S9+ has thicker bezels than the S8+. That’s unlikely to happen as Samsung will maintain if not reduce the current screen-to-body aspect ratio. The phone also seems unusually clunky to be Samsung‘s hero device.
Eagle-eyed folks at GSMArena have made a good point that the power button has weird protrusion. They also mention that the phone in this leaked video features an FM radio, which is not found on premium Samsung phones.
The video surfaced on a Chinese website miaopai.com before going viral. On SlashLeaks, it has been busted as a snippet from a hands-on video of a S9 clone made by Chinese device maker Ken Ken’s Group.
