
Tecno Camon iAce 2, Camon iAce 2X Launched in India: Price, Features and Specifications
Transsion Holdings-owned offline smartphone brand Tecno has announced two new smartphones for Indian market dubbed as Camon iAce 2 and Camon iAce 2X. Both the smartphones feature an 8-megapixel selfie camera which is backed by AI (artificial intelligence), HD+ Full View Display and 3,050mAh capacity battery. Both are budget smartphones priced under sub-8K segment.
Tecno Camon iAce 2 and Camon iAce 2X Price and Availability in India
The Tecno Camon iAce 2 is the cheaper of the two variants which is priced at Rs. 6,999 and will come in Champagne Gold, Midnight Black and City Blue colour variants. The Camon iAce 2X comes with a price tag of Rs. 7,599. It will be available in three colour shades- Champagne Gold, Midnight Black and Nebula Black (gradient). Both the smartphones will be available for sale starting from today across 35,000+ retail outlets across the country.
As part of the launch offer, the company is giving 100 days free replacement, one-time screen replacement and 1 month extended warranty.
Tecno Camon iAce 2 and Camon iAce 2X Features and Specifications
Both Camon iAce 2 and Camon iAce 2X have some features in common. Both the phones come equipped with 5.5-inch HD+ Full View Display with screen resolution of 1,440 x 720 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9 resulting into 80.5 percent screen-to-body ratio. The display has thick bezels across the sides. Both the devices are powered by the same MediaTek Helio A22 (MT6761) 64-bit quad-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz and come with 32GB of storage onboard, which is expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card. In the camera department, you get a 13MP rear snapper with f/1.8 aperture and dual LED flash. For selfies, there’s an 8MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture and front flash. The camera set up has AI (artificial intelligence) support for enhanced photography such as AI Bokeh model to blur the background to highlight the subject in a frame.
On the software front, both the phones will run Android Oreo 8.1-based HiOS 4.1 operating system out of the box. In terms of security, there’s a rear-mounted fingerprint reader as well as Face Unlock feature. All of this is backed by a 3,050mAh battery. Both the phones are Dual SIM (nano + nano + microSD) compatible. For connectivity, both phones come with 3.5mm headphone jack, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS + GLONASS. Onboard sensors include an ambient light sensor, gravity sensor, and a proximity sensor.
The difference is in terms of RAM, wherein the iACE2 features a 2GB RAM whereas the iACE2x features a 3GB RAM.
