Survey : Are Indians happy with e-Commerce sites going App-Only?by Sushant Bhosale November 6, 2015
Being an avant-garde in the digital commerce space, we at Compareraja are always on the lookout to understand the customer behaviour a tad better and have an insight into market trends. Having seen e-tail giants like Myntra go entirely the ‘mobile application way’; the only question to be asked is that ‘Are Indian consumers really ready for such a shift’?
Every month we carry out online surveys for a better understanding of the evolution of the online marketing trends. This month we wanted to have an insight into what factors affect a consumer’s decision of shopping through mobile apps.
An online survey was carried out on over 2000 respondents took the survey and below are the findings:
50.5% of the total respondents who took this survey use mobile apps to shop online
Out of these 50.5% people; about 65% find it convenient to use while almost 50% respondents feel that mobile apps offer better discounts and deals
One more remarkable point here is that out of the other 49.5% who do not like to shop through mobile apps; about 45% blame connectivity issues while another 39% just do not like the overall experience of shopping through mobile applications
