With small time brands trying to spoil the party with cheap handsets, popular brands are now up in arms to knock them all down. Biggies like Samsung, HTC and BlackBerry are constantly making efforts towards producing gadgets with a much better build quality, a stable operating system and of course a stunning design. A perfect example is the recent innovation from Sony, the Xperia E Dual. Loaded with Android Ice Cream Sandwich, the handset is expected to cost you around Rs. 10,000 which is quite impressive.

Sony Xperia E Dual Phone

  • 3.5 inch TFT capacitive touchscreen
  • 1 GHz Cortex-A5 processor
  • Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich)
  • 3.15 MP primary camera
  • VGA secondary camera

Design:
This Sony Xperia E Dual is quite light in weight. It features a rubberized rear panel and a glossy front. Dominating the front panel is a scratch resistant glass with the Home, Back and the Menu button at the bottom. The buttons are highly responsive but not backlit, which may cause a trouble while you are in the dark. The dual SIM slots along with the microSD are located below the rear panel while the volume rocker and the power button find a space on the right.

Hardware:
Powering the handset is a 1 GHz Cortex A5 processor teamed up with a 512 MB RAM. The Adreno 200 GPU takes care of the graphics. Out of the total 4 GB of internal storage, only 2 GB is usable. However, the memory can be further extended up to 32GB. The gadget is powered by a 1530 mAh battery which offers a talk time of around 6 hours and a standby of around 530 hours.

Camera:
The handset features a 3.15 MP rear camera but lacks a front-facing camera. So, if video calling is one of your top priorities, the Xperia E Dual might not make you too happy. But, if a few casual images is what you plan to click while you are on the go, the handset will surely fall handy.

Though the Xperia E Dual may not be a feature-rich handset, it turns out to be a perfect pick for casual computing. It offers a bundle of fabulous features available at a price that’s well within your budget. Make sure to compare the best deals at compareraja.in to save a few extra bucks.
