Sony has announced the launch of its WH-1000XM3 wireless headphones in India. The wireless headphones will be the successor and upgraded version of its WH-1000XM2 headphones which was launched last year.

The key feature of the WH-1000XM3 wireless headphones is its 40mm driver with Liquid Crystal Polymer diaphragm. The headphones come with an amazing 30-hour battery life. The wireless headphones, unveiled at IFA 2018, is priced at Rs 29,900. It has been launched in two colour options namely Black and Platinum Silver. The WH-1000XM3 wireless headphones will go on sale in India from 18th October onwards.

The Sony WH-1000XM3 headphones’ driver unit is equipped to deliver heavy beats. It can clearly play frequencies in the range of up to 40kHz. The wireless headphones can minimise background noise as it is powered by HD Noise Cancelling QN1. The company claims that it is four times more efficient in terms of performance as compared to the WH-1000XM2 wireless headphones.

The processor of the WH-1000XM3 wireless headphones comes with 32-bit audio signal processing technology combined with DAC with Amplifier functionality. This enables the headphones to offer augmented sound quality to the users. The headphone weighs around 255 grams. It sports deeper ear cups and thicker headband cushion as compared to its predecessors.

The WH-1000XM3 wireless headphones also boasts of the Quick Attention Mode like its predecessors. Due to this feature, users can just place their hands over the right housing to decrease music volume if they want to take a pause and talk to people around them. The users can also change tracks and control volume just by swiping a touchpad on the right.

The WH-1000XM3 wireless headphones brings in some smart features too. The Adaptive Sound Control detects if the user is on the move and adjusts the ambient sound settings as per the activity without reducing the volume of the music being played.

The WH-1000XM3 wireless headphones by Sony delivers an impressive 30-hour battery life and the company claims that it offers fast-charging technology which can ensure full charge in 10-minutes. The headphones can be charged using a USB Type-C port. The presence of multiple mics ensure that the headphones are suited for hands-free conversations.
