Ever since taking pictures has been digitalized, cameras have become an integral part of everyone’s life. Just like a television set and a fridge is one of those necessary goods, cameras have also taken that place now. With every growing digital technology, a photography freak doesn’t stop upgrading his camera collection as per the trend.
Adding up to this digital, market, Sony has recently launched three new cameras. While two are from the acclaimed Alpha line, the last one is from its Cyber-shot line of compact cameras. These trendy models include the Alpha A7S, the Alpha A77 II and the Cyber-shot RX100 III.
Billed as the world’s smallest full-frame camera, Sony Alpha A7S will be released in mid-July for an estimated price of Rs. 1, 54,500. Meanwhile, Sony Alpha A77 II is available in three variants already, ILCA-77IIQ with the SAL 650 lens which costs Rs. 1,14,990, ILCA-77IIM with the SAL 18135 lens for Rs. 1,04,990 and ILCA-77II only body for Rs. 84,990.The third and the last product by Sony-Cyber-shot RX100 III- is already available in market for Rs. 54,990.
Known to be world’s smallest full-frame camera, Sony Alpha A7S is the latest in the line from the Alpha series which has produced cameras like Sony Alpha A7 and the Sony Alpha A7R before. This 35mm full frame camera sports a 12.2-megapixel, Exmor CMOS sensor along with the Bionz X processor, giving it an ISO range of 50 to 4, 09,600.
Its features enable users to shoot HD video at 60fps, 60i, 30fps and 24fps. Besides, it also has the APS-C (super 35mm film equivalent) mode for shooting the videos at a high frame rate of 120fps. Compatible with the E-mount series of lenses along with an adapter and with the lenses from the A-series, this camera is best for shooting of 4K videos to a compatible external 4K video recorder. Above all, a total of 54 lenses can be used with the camera.
Available in three variants, Sony Alpha A77 camera has world’s highest phase-detection AF point count with 79 points across 15 cross points. Besides, it also has a 24.3-megapixel Exmor CMOS image sensor with the Bionz X image processor along with an ISO range of 100-25600 and XGA OLED TRu-Finder. One of its attractive features is its 3-way tilt-able LCD screen.
The third product of Sony, Cyber-shot RX100 III has 20.1-megapixel, back-illuminated Exmor R CMOS sensor with the Bionz X Processor along with a bright, wide-angle Zeiss, Vario- Sonnar T 24-70mm F1.8-2.8 lens. It also has a 4K still image output, which enables view photos on a 4K TV. In this camera, its 3.0 inch LCD screen has the feature of flipping up 180 degrees.
Play Memories Camera Apps, that boosts the photo experience can be used in this camera besides the other range of free and paid apps to improve the photography with the RX100 III. For easy photo sharing, this camera has features of NFC and Wi-Fi connectivity.
