Sony has expanded its Xperia series with Xperia M2 and Xperia Z2. The company launched both the smartphones at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2014 taking place at Barcelona (Spain).
The Xperia M2 is a mid-range smartphone that sports a 4.8-inch qHD display with 960 x 540 resolution. The device is powered by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm quad-core Snapdragon processor with Adreno 305 graphics and 1GB RAM. It runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS and features 8MP rear camera with auto scene recognition. The internal storage capacity is 8GB which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. The battery capacity is 2300mAh which can deliver up to 14 hours of talktime and 693 hours of standby time. Connectivity options include- Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, 4G LTE, GPS, NFC and micro-USB.

The Xperia Z2 is a high-end smartphone that features a 5.2-inch display. It hosts a 20.7MP primary camera with Exmor RS sensor and a 2.2MP front-facing camera. The device is powered by a 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor along with 3GB RAM. Internal storage is 16GB which can be expanded up to 64GB via microSD card. Battery capacity is 3000mAh.
