Featuring a 20x optical zoom lens, the Sony Cybershot DSC-WX300 is presently one of the most powerful point-and-shoot cameras that can easily fit into your pocket. The Wi-Fi enabled camera includes an 18.2 Exmor R CMOS sensor and is currently available in black, white and red. The WX300 comes with a price tag of Rs. 19700, which is quite impressive.

Key Features:

  • 18.2 MP Exmor R CMOS sensor
  • 3.0 inch 460k dot LCD display
  • 20x optical zoom lens
  • Full 1080p HD video recording
  • Optical SteadyShot
  • iSweep panorama
  • 5cm minimum focusing distance

Sony Cyber Shot DSC WX300The WX300 owns a compact metallic body. Although it pumps in a powerful 20x optical zoom lens, it is not at all heavy. The 3 inch LCD display is viewable even in low light conditions. On the right of the screen lie the movie record, playback, menu and the delete buttons. The on/off button, shutter release, mode dial and the zoom rocker are found on top of the camera.

While the camera comes with a 20x optical zoom capability, it can be further extended up to 40x with Clear Image Zoom. The Optical SteadyShot feature reduces blur while you are shooting handheld. Interestingly, this is one of the few P & S cameras with Wi-Fi capability which enables you to transfer your photos and videos to another device.

To be able to use the Wi-Fi, you need to install the PlayMemories App. Apart from helping you transfer  videos and images, the app also lets you capture them. The app has a simple user interface which makes pairing a lot easier.

The Intelligent auto shooting mode automatically adjusts the settings based on the scene you intend to shoot. Another most notable feature is the artistic picture effect which lets you add a few extra effects to images and videos, making them look more lively and appealing.

The Sony Cybershot DSC-WX300 is capable of recording videos at 1080p. While you are shooting a portrait, the camera automatically eliminates skin blemishes and forehead shine.

With 500 shots per charge, the battery life is surely impressive. However, if you happen to use the Wi-Fi connectivity quite often, you need to expect something less than 500 shots.

So overall, the WX300 offers a bit of almost everything. Plus, this one can easily fit into your pocket. Above all, just Rs. 19700 is all you pay for this fabulous gadget. What more would you ask for? Do check out CompareRaja for latest deals and discount offers on this Sony camera.
