Sony, the consumer electronics giant, has launched a new 75-inch 4K HDR LED Android TV under its X9500G series in India. The TV is called the Sony KD-75X9500G. The TV features a 75-inch display and comes with extremely thin bezels and frame. Its minimalistic design ensures that pictures are put right in the front and centre of the television.

The TV comes with support for features such as Google Assistant support. It also offers X1 Ultimate picture processor, Full-Array local dimming backlight, ultra-wide viewing angle, and a Netflix Calibrated mode too. The Android TV comes with support for Android 8.0 Oreo, 16GB of onboard storage, and Bluetooth v4.2 support as well.

The 75-inch Sony KD-75X9500G 4K HDR LED Android TV will be available for sale in India at a price tag of Rs. 4,49,990. It is already available in Sony Centres all over India and leading electronic stores across the country. The TV comes with a black colour frame while its stand is dark silver in colour.

The display screen of the 75-inch TV comes with a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels. It sports 4K Triluminos LED display with X1 Ultimate picture processor with added Object-Based Super Resolution and improved Object-Based HDR Remaster over the previous processing chip. As per Sony, the processor can intelligently detect and analyse each object in the picture which results in a more detailed and realistic output.

The full array of LEDs with local dimming combined with X-tended dynamic range Pro enables the TV to offer up to six times the contrast offered by a conventional LED TV. It does so by balancing the light output across the screen, dimming some areas and boosting others.

There is also an X-wide angle technology that offers an ultra-wide viewing angle for the TV. It minimises the colour change when seen from the sides. The picture modes in the TV include a Netflix Calibrated Mode for studio quality picture. The other modes include Vivid, Standard, Cinema, Game, Graphics, Photo, Custom, Dolby Vision Bright, and Dolby Vision Dark.

The KD-75X9500G 75-inch 4K HDR Android TV packs in two sound positioning tweeters in the rear, and bass reflex speakers for sound-from-picture reality. As per the company, this TV will also be powered by Dolby Atmos (built-in) with a future firmware update. The Sony Android TV support an in-built microphone and can seamlessly use Google assistant.
