If you think that house-cleaning is boring, think again. Samsung has introduced new Star Wars based Powerbot robot vacuum cleaner, the VR7000. The movie tie-up is not for the namesake, as the vacuum cleaner design is based on the Galaxy’s most iconic villain Darth Vader. And if you can’t see the dark lord sweeping the floors, you can go for the Stormtrooper design.

The Darth Vader model comes with Wi-Fi connectivity and its own remote control. Both models come with south effects based on the character.

Moving on the technical bits, the vacuum has a capacity of 10 watts. With its special design, the robot can clean near walls and edges. It can even work autonomously using its on-board sensors. It can map the room for optimum cleaning times.

The VR7000 Star Wars edition is up for pre-order on Samsung’s official website in the US. The Stormtrooper variant of VR7000 is priced at $699 (approx 46,000). The Darth Vader one will cost you a hundred bucks more. At this point, the company hasn’t shared any info regarding the global release of the robotic cleaner.
