Samsung has launched the new Galaxy J2 Pro (2018) and is being listed on the company’s official Vietnamese website. The smartphone has been priced in Vietnam at VND 3,290,000 (approx. Rs 9,000). The handset carries the signature Galaxy design and is made of polycarbonate. It measures 143.8×72.3×8.4mm and weighs around 153 grams. It will be available in Black, Blue, and Gold.
As speculated earlier, the Galaxy J2 Pro (2018) sports a 5-inch Super AMOLED qHD (540×960) display. Offering an AMOLED screen at such a low price point is quite commendable.
The phone is powered by a 1.4 GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1.5 GB of RAM. This is disappointing as the previous iteration was equipped with 2 GB of RAM. Wonder why Samsung downsized the RAM on this one. It bears in 16 GB of inbuilt storage, which is expandable via a microSD card slot.
On the photography front, it comes with an 8 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front-facing sensor. Both shooters are accompanied by an LED flash. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n 2.4 GHz, Bluetooth 4.2, and 4G LTE. The Galaxy J2 Pro (2018) runs Android 7.0 Nougat and is powered by a 2600 mAh removable battery under its hood. The phone will soon reach the Indian shores priced under Rs 10,000.
