Samsung Rumoured To Launch Galaxy Grand Neo With 5-Inch Display

After Galaxy Grand 2, Samsung is now reported to launch a new 5-inch phone named Galaxy Grand Neo. Although there is no official word from the South Korean giant but the company is rumoured to unveil the mid-range phablet at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2014 at Barcelona (Spain) in February.

galaxy grandThe Grand Neo is reported to be powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core A7 processor (similar to Galaxy Grand 2) and sports a 5-inch WVGA display with 800 x 480 pixel resolution. It might feature a 1 GB RAM and will run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system. In-built storage is expected to be 8GB which can further be expanded by microSD card.
The device is expected to host a 5MP rear snapper with LED flash and a 1.3MP front snapper. The battery capacity is expected to be 2100mAh.

There is no information available yet about the pricing and availability so we’ll have to wait till MWC scheduled for 24 February.

Samsung was also reported to launch Lite variant of its successful Galaxy Grand device with 5-inch display (480x800p resolution), 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM and 5MP rear camera.

It seems like the Korean company is all set for 2014 with new devices lined up from its popular Galaxy series.

In related news- Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 will be officially priced in India soon, post which it will be available for sale. The expected price of the phone is approximately around Rs. 23,000/-. The device was launched in India in December last year. Stay tuned for further updates!
