The South Korean giant has finally unveiled the Galaxy F22, the 5th device in the F-series lineup that includes Galaxy F41, Galaxy F02s, Galaxy F12, and Galaxy F62. The smartphone will sport a higher refresh rate screen with quad-screen camera setup, and a bigger battery. It will give a direct competition to devices like POCO M3 Pro 5G, Redmi Note 10S, etc. The all-new Galaxy F22 will come just under the price tag of ₹15,000.

With an Infinity-U super AMOLED panel of 6.4”, the smartphone will produce a resolution of HD+ and the screen refresh rate will be 90Hz. Samsung is also offering a fingerprint scanner embedded with the power button. Having a square-shaped camera module, the rear panel will come with a textured design.

Coming to the optics, the camera module houses a primary 48MP sensor paired with an 8MP ultra-wide lens along with a dual 2-megapixel macro and depth sensor. On the front, the Infinity-U design will house a 13-megapixel sensor. At its core, the device will draw its power from an affordable octa-core MediaTek Helio G80 chipset. The SoC will be paired with 6 gigs of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. It can be further expanded using a microSD. The smartphone will be backed up by a 6,000 mAh battery that will support fast charging up to 15W. The smartphone will boot on Android 11 with a custom skin OneUI 3.1 on the top.

Samsung Galaxy F22 will come with top connectivity features such as dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, USB type-C port, and a 3.5mm port.

Pricing and availability

The all-new Samsung Galaxy F22 will go on sale with two memory variants, 4GB and 6GB and it will be available in Denim Black and Denim Blue colors. The brand has priced it quite aggressively at ₹12,499 and ₹14,499 for the 4GB and 6GB variants, respectively. The sale will commence at noon, July 13 via Flipkart, Samsung India’s online store, and all the major retail outlets.

The Axis Bank credit cardholders will get a flat 5% cashback for the devices bought via Flipkart. The smartphone can be bought at a direct ₹1,000 off for all the prepaid buyers who are purchasing through Flipkart.
