If rumours are to be believed then the Korean handset maker Samsung is set to launch its new flagship Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Lite at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2014. The event will be held at Barcelona in February 2014.
Samsung Note 3 Lite is reported to be a cheaper version of the company’s flagship Note 3 and will sport mid-range specifications. Although the exact specs. are unknown, the device is expected to feature either 5.4 or 5.7-inch LCD display replacing the Super AMOLED present in Note 3. The handset is likely to have downgraded 8MP rear camera as compared to the 13MP in Note 3. The RAM might also see a drop down to 1 or 2GB from 3GB. Its believed that the device will support stylus as well as dual SIM functionality, and will compete against LG G Pro Lite Dual and similar devices.
Samsung is also expected to launch the Lite version of it’s another large handset- Galaxy Grand. The Galaxy Grand Lite is expected to be available in four colour variants- White, Orange, Midnight Black and Lime Green.
