Samsung launches Galaxy Note Pro and Galaxy Tab Pro tablets at CES 2014by Sushant Bhosale January 8, 2014 0 comments
Just a few days back there were rumours about Samsung’s wide screen tablets and now the company has announced four devices at Consumer Electronic Show (CES) 2014 being held at Las Vegas. The South Korean giant is expanding its Galaxy Note and Galaxy Tab line up with Pro models.
The TabPro line up will feature tablets with three sizes- 8.4-inch, 10.1-inch and 12.2-inch, whereas the NotePro will feature tablets with 12.2-inch size. These will be one of the largest mainstream tablets offering a full HD display.

- 8MP rear camera
- 2MP front camera
- Wi-Fi and LTE options
- IR Blaster
The new tablets also sport TouchWiz and a new called Magazine UI layout that features tiles of apps and information.
The Galaxy NotePro 12.2 comes in 3G and LTE variants. The 3G variant is powered by a 1.9GHz Exynos 5 Octa chipset, whereas the LTE variant is powered by a 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 chipset. The RAM is 3GB and battery capacity is 9500mAh. There are 32GB and 64GB inbuilt storage variants with option to expand up to 64GB via microSD card.
The TabPro models will have same tech specs. as that of NotePro models. However the TabPro lacks Samsung’s S Pen stylus support.
Samsung claims the new portfolio “redefines what a tablet can do”. There are no details available about the pricing and availability of the new devices but they are expected to be available by end of this quarter.
