
Samsung Launched Galaxy M33 & Galaxy M23 With FHD+ Panel and Quad-camera Module; Here’s Everything You Need To Know
The South Korean tech giant has unveiled two new smartphones under its M-series. The devices are dubbed as Galaxy M33 and Galaxy M23. The elder M-series addition will sport a punch-hole display on the front along with a quad-camera module. The younger sibling Galaxy M23 will sport a triple-camera system. The primary camera on the duo will be a 50-megapixel one.
The latest addition to the M-series will come with 5G support and are next in line with 2021’s Galaxy M32 5G and Galaxy M22 5G. We are going to discuss the key features and specs here.
Samsung Galaxy M33 5G: Key specs & features
The elder sibling Galaxy M33 5G will come with a TFT 6.6” panel that will produce FHD+ resolution with a pixel count of 1080*2408 pixels. The punch hole cutout on the front will house an 8-megapixel sensor. The quad-camera on the rear will have a primary sensor of 50-megapixel. It will be paired with a 8MP ultra-wide and dual 2MP depth and macro sensors.
At its core, Galaxy M33 5G will have an octa-core SoC that will support 5G. The chipset will come paired with up to 8 gigs of memory and up to 128GB of onboard storage. Behind the whole package of Galaxy M33 5G, a 6,000 mAh battery will be powering it up. The smartphone will weigh around 215 grams with dimensions of 165.4 x 76.9 x 9.4 mm.
Samsung Galaxy M23 5G: Key specs & features
The panel on the Galaxy M23 5G will also be a 6.6” TFT with the same pixel count producing FHD+ resolution. The front firing snapper will be an 8-megapixel lens. On the rear, the triple-camera module here will be the home of a primary 50-megapixel sensor paired with a 2MP depth sensor and 8MP lens for ultra-wide shots.
At its core, the Galaxy M23 5G will be an octa-core chipset with 5G support. The processor will come paired with 4 gigs of RAM and 128GB internal storage. The smartphone will be backed up by a 5,000 mAh battery. The device will carry a weight of 198 grams and the dimensions are 165.5 x 77 x 8.4 mm.
The duo will boot on Android 12 out of the box with OneUI 4.1 on the top. A few common features that you will get on the Galaxy M33 and Galaxy M23 are microSD card slot, FPS integrated with the power button, and Samsung Knox security. There is no confirmation on the devices’ fast charging capabilities.
Pricing & availability
There are no details revealed by Samsung regarding the pricing and availability of the duo. A few reports that are published claim that the Galaxy M33 and M23 will be available in the European and Indian markets. Samsung Galaxy M33 will be available in three color options; Brown, Blue, and Green. The younger one will come in just two options; Light Blue and Deep Green.
