Samsung introduced the new Galaxy M51 in the Indian market, it was launched last week in Germany. The spec list will exactly be the same for both the Indian, as well as German markets.

If we list the M-series smartphones launched by Samsung in 2020, Galaxy M51 is the 5th one and comes feature-packed with high-end specs in the mid-range segment. The USPs of this latest Galaxy smartphone will be 64 MP quad-camera setup and a whopping 7,000 mAh battery. Talking about the competition, it will directly compete with OnePlus Nord, Realme X3, etc.

Samsung Galaxy M51: Key specs & features

The South Korean giant Samsung is offering Galaxy M51 with an Infinity-O display where users will get a punch-hole camera cutout on a 6.7” sAMOLED screen. The FP scanner is mounted on the right side and the display will have the FHD+ resolution. The rear side comprises of a quad-camera rectangular layout. Samsung Galaxy M51 will also sport the Widevine L1 certificate, it will make the smartphone capable to stream HD content from OTT platforms.

Galaxy M51 is equipped with incredible optics as well. The quad-camera bump will house a primary lens of 64 MP f/1.8 Sony IMX682 sensor. It will be paired with a 12 MP ultra-wide, 5 MP macro, and depth sensor. On the front, the Infinity-O cutout will house a 32 MP selfie snapper, and it will come with features like LiveFocus, panorama, and night mode hyper-lapse.

The smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 730G chipset and comes in two variants. The base variant will sport 6 GB RAM & 128 GB onboard storage. Both the variants will have a dedicated microSD slot, expandable up to 512 GB. Samsung Galaxy M51 will be backed up by a huge 7,000 mAh battery with 25W fast-charging support. It will run on Android 10 with OneUI 2.1 on the top.

When it comes to connectivity, the smartphone will sport a 3.5mm audio jack, type-C port, dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, reverse charging, etc.

Pricing & availability

Samsung Galaxy M51 will come in two color variants, Electric Blue and Celestial Black. The base variant 6GB+128GB will be priced at ₹24,999 whereas the higher 8GB+128GB one will be available at ₹26,999. The smartphone will be on sale exclusively through Amazon India at noon on September 18. There will also be a 3-day introductory offer where it will be available at ₹2,000 off for HDFC cardholders.
