The Samsung Gear S4 will succeed the Samsung Gear S3 which was announced in August 2016. Its highlight feature is its bigger battery. The smart watch may be powered by a 470mAh battery. This is a marked improvement over the 380mAh battery that gave Gear S3 its power. The battery life of the previous smart watches by the company has been good hence things will look further up and enhanced user experience is highly likely with Samsung Gear S4.

The Samsung Gear S4 may also use a better chipset. As per a report in CNET, Samsung Gear S4 will use a new panel level package (PLP) chip. This will enable the smart watch to be sleeker and cheaper.

The event which will launch both devices together will be of interest to users, especially Samsung aficionados. The Galaxy Note 9 will comprise dual camera systems that correlate with the size of the battery, as per previous leaks. There is a good chance of the smartphone featuring horizontal dual cameras. The Galaxy Note 9 is speculated to include a slightly bigger battery and is expected to come with a fingerprint scanner under the cameras. If initial rumours are correct, the smartphone would be powered by a battery of 4000mAh capacity.
