The launch of the Galaxy Note 9 by South Korean consumer electronics giant Samsung also saw the launch of its Galaxy Watch. The launches were made in India on 22 August but the smartwatch had first been globally announced in the first few days of August in an event in New York.

The Samsung Galaxy Smart Watch will be offered to the users in two different sizes. The gadget will feature over 60,000 watch faces that will be available on the Galaxy App Store. In addition, the Galaxy Smart Watch will also offer a heart-rate monitor.

The device will come with an AMOLED display. It will be a high-resolution, “Always-On” display screen. The Galaxy Smart Watch will pack in the Corning DX glass and is water resistant. The device comes with a 5ATM certification which means that the users can go into the water for up to a depth of 50 metres without causing much damage to the smart watch.

As for the connectivity, the Galaxy Smart Watch uses LTE to seamlessly connect with each other without needing to own a smartphone.

In terms of connectivity, the watch uses LTE connectivity to stay connected without the need for a smartphone. The smart watch can run for several days as it has been completely charged once. The device can be charged using a dual wireless charger.

The new Galaxy Smart Watch boasts of connectivity with virtual assistant Bixby. The virtual assistant would not require apps to be installed on to a device as it can run independently. The company also claims that the battery of the Samsung Smart Watch is so good that it can last several days. The device can track the inactive user data and patterns and provide the user with data on how well they could have been sleeping.

The Smart Watch comes with in-built 21 new indoor exercises and it comprises a total of 39 workouts. The Galaxy Smart Watch will be available in colour options such as Rose Gold, Silver and Midnight Black. The company has not yet made an official announcement on the pricing and availability of these devices.
