Samsung introduced Galaxy Tab S6 in October last year. The tab had Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor and 4G LTE connectivity. Now the band has officially launched the Samsung Galaxy Tab 6 that supports 5G connectivity. Like the 4G variant, this tab also comes with the same chipset. The difference is that the tab comes with Qualcomm 50 modem instead of the X24 LTE modem. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 is the first tablet in the world that comes with 5G connectivity and an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 5G features and specifications

The specifications of the Galaxy Tab S6 are the same as the October launch. The only difference being the connectivity. The slate features a 10.5-inch QHD+ Super AMOLED display. This tablet supports the S pen which attaches at the back of the tablet for the ease of carrying around and for charging purposes. Along with the Snapdragon 855, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 comes with 6GB RAM and internal storage of 128GB. There is no information yet as to if it has expandable storage via a microSD card. Samsung is yet to announce which version of Android OS it will be carrying. However, we are expecting it to come with Android 10 with One UI.

 

With respect to the camera, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 has a 13-megapixel primary camera at the rear along with a 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor. On the front, the tab features an 8-megapixel camera for video calling. Along with 5G connectivity, the tab also includes 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, A-GPS, dual-band Wifi and a USB Type C. A 7040mAh battery that supports fast charging power the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 is priced at KRW 999,900 which is approximately Rs. 60,460. The tablet is now available for purchase in South Korea.
