After causing a huge amount of curiosity, the South Korean gadget giant finally decided to unveil its most anticipated innovation – the Samsung Galaxy SIV. The gadget is all packed with some fabulous features – most of which have never been seen before. The phone will have two variants – one powered by a 1.9 GHz quad-core processor and the other with a 1.6 GHz octa-core processor. Most of its features which were earlier rumored are now a reality. Lets have a close look at the gadget.Samsung Galaxy SIV Mobile

  • 5-inch HD super AMOLED display
  • Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean)
  • 1.9 GHz Quad-Core / 1.6 GHz Octa-Core Processor
  • 2 GB RAM
  • 13 MP primary camera
  • 2 MP secondary camera
  • 2600 mAh battery

It seems like this time, Samsung has largely focused on the Software features than the hardware. Take for instance the technology that starts and stops a video depending on whether you are watching it or not. This means, whenever you get your eyes off the screen, the video stops automatically. Look at the screen, and the video starts playing once again. No rival phone manufacturers have yet introduced this technology.

Samsung Galaxy SIVThe Samsung Galaxy SIV will also feature Knox, a software that separates your personal data from your business data by building a secure wall. The handset also features a translator. Unfortunately, Hindi is not yet included. It also includes something known as Drama shots – a feature that captures 100 different shots in 4 seconds and puts them all back together to offer you something that looks highly dramatic.

The Air View feature found in Note II makes its way to the Galaxy SIV as well. Simply hover your finger over a thumbnail of an image without touching the screen and the preview will be displayed. The Galaxy SIV will be running on the latest Android 4.2 operating system and will feature a fabulous 13 MP primary camera. For now, the only other smartphone featuring a camera so powerful is the Sony Xperia Z. But, that’s the only feature the two have in common.  The 5-inch HD screen has a 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution. Lastly, you have a 2600 mAh battery that promises a decent talktime.

‘Life Companion’ – That’s the tag line Samsung has chosen for its brand new innovation. With a bunch of brand new features packed in, the tag line does fit-in rightly.
